Now that the Predator drone has convinced the U.S. military of the power of killer robots, the Pentagon has put up a call for a loving, family-oriented artificial intelligence. The Department of Defense is soliciting proposals from small businesses for a computer program that would replicate troops serving abroad, during phone conversations and video conferences with their families.

Apologies for a) being late again and b) not using some of the news stories sent in by you guys on this episode. Real life has intervened, sadly, and I needed to get a show format out ASAP, and at work, where my access to my r4nger5 mail is not possible.
Rant Meet (hopefully someone who was there will be on line)
R4nger5 Meet – we need more feedback as regards both an urban r4nger5 meet (February?) and the first camping one of the year (March).
New Studio Kit (looks like all the system crashes that have plagued r4nger5 radio may soon be a thing of the past! Thanks to Weaver and lots of overtime!
New plans for 2009
More regular video and a commitment to putting out more material.
Hopefully more stuff on Standover media, now Harlequin appears to be back.
